Bills boost defense with a former Colts cornerback

The Buffalo Bills made a strong off-season addition by signing former Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis. The deal is for one year, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The signing bolsters the Bills secondary as the former two-time Pro Bowler will join rookie phenom Tre’Davious White and 2017 NFL Interception Leader Micah Hyde.

Davis battled through injuries in both 2016 and 2017, ultimately leading to his midseason release by the Colts, but Davis was one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL from 2013-15. The 29-year-old is not too old for a comeback.
