Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, Patriots coach Bill Belichick, whose been known to talk up an opponent or two, said he wasn’t falling for Ben Roethlisberger’s praise of his defensive line. The Steelers quarterback had remarked Sunday during a conference call with local reporters that he was impressed with all the “high motors” on the Pats D-line.
“It sounds like Ben buttering us up pretty good,” Belichick cracked. “Half these guys have never played against him. But that’s very complimentary of Ben to say that. We’ll see. It’s opening night. It’s Thursday night. I think everyone’s motor will be running.
