FOXBORO — Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are enjoying another record year.
Belichick set a new bar last night when he coached his 37th playoff game as the Patriots hosted the Tennessee Titans at Gillette Stadium in the divisional round. Belichick broke a tie for the NFL lead with Tom Landry and Don Shula.
Belichick coached two playoff games with the Browns in 1994. As long as he coaches two more playoff games with the Patriots, he’ll set another record for the most postseason games with one franchise, as Landry’s 36 tilts were exclusively with the Dallas Cowboys.
