Bill Belichick thinks officials could have communicated better at the end of regulation

It was an unusual situation that nearly cost the Patriots Sunday night's game at the end of regulation in their eventual 30-24 overtime loss to the Broncos.

Following a Tom Brady completion to Scott Chandler with 24 seconds left, Denver's Malik Jackson came off the field for an injury timeout. Since there were under two minutes to go, the Broncos were docked a timeout which they didn't have. With Chandler being tackled in bounds by Aqib Talib, the clock ran as soon as the ball was spotted again.

This seemed to upset coach Bill Belichick, who angrily discussed the run-off with an official despite wide receiver Chris Harper incurring a pass interference penalty with 10 seconds to go.
