Earlier this week, former New England Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork was named the team Hall of Fame’s 2022 inductee.
Wilfork won the fan vote over linebacker Mike Vrabel and guard Logan Mankins.
On Wednesday, head coach Bill Belichick released a glowing statement praising Wilfork, calling him an “all-time great player”.

During a media availability session Tuesday, Wilfork gave credit to Belichick for helping make him such a successful nose tackle.
“I was a nightmare for offenses trying to figure out where I’m going to be, and all that credit goes to Bill Belichick.
