FOXBORO — The new-look Jets are off to a strong start and a big reason for that has been the play of Ryan Fitzpatrick.
The journeyman quarterback, who is with his sixth team in 10 seasons, has appeared comfortable in his new digs, helping the surprising Jets to an early 4-1 record. Fitzpatrick took the reins after starting quarterback Geno Smith's jaw was broken by a punch in the preseason, and the Harvard grad has played capably in his place, throwing for 1,177 yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Against the Patriots, though, it's been a different story for Fitzpatrick.
