Bob Quinn is going to be introduced as the new general manager of the Detroit Lions this afternoon. Quinn was hired by the Patriots in 2000 as a player personnel assistant, and worked his way up through the ranks.
On a conference call this morning, Bill Belichick spoke highly of Quinn's impact in Foxboro.
"Of course I'm happy for Bob," Belichick said. "He's done a great job for us. Really one of the foundation blocks from the last decade and a half.
