There was no practice for the New England Patriots on the Friday of their bye week.
OK, that's not technically true. The Pats did spend Friday practicing a sport. It just wasn't football.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, Bill Belichick took his Patriots bowling at Splitsville in Patriot Place following their Friday lift.
As Reiss pointed out, the Patriots had a similar "team bonding" experience during last year's bye week before the divisional round. They went to the theaters to see the movie, "American Sniper."
No word yet on which Patriot had the best showing at the alley Friday.
