From a distance, it may seem like winning is everything for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.
It mostly is. The whole organization is built around achieving it.
Belichick rarely shows his soft side as a coach. But the COVID-19 outbreak this year has really shown just how proactive, empathetic and careful he is when it comes to player safety.
Sometimes, that player-centric mentality can run counter to that of the reputation Belichick has developed across the league over 20 years.
