In New England, Bill Belichick surely doesn’t have trouble finding someone to fix a leak. However, Julian Edelman might have put that status in doubt with a story he told at the Super Bowl MVP press conference Monday, so the Patriots head coach set the record straight.
Edelman rhapsodized about Tom Brady’s tireless work ethic then did the same for Belichick, telling a tale from his first year in the NFL and even mimicking his coach’s delivery.
“I remember going in and seeing coach — I don’t know if he remembers this — but I was a rookie and it was like 11 o’clock at night,” Edelman said.
