The New England Patriots had a chance to test themselves against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles in a scrimmage on Tuesday morning. They probably didn't come away from that practice liking the results all too much.
The defense showed some fight against the Eagles, but the offense got absolutely mauled down the stretch. Such has been the case in most of the Patriots' practices as well. The offensive struggles continue to be a glaring issue for the team, and it was once again highlighted in a big way in the scrimmage against the Eagles.
Throughout the offseason, the Patriots have approached this year as a rebuild.
