After three years on the ballot, in year four, former New England Patriots defensive end Richard Seymour is, at last, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Seymour’s Pro Football Hall of Fame selection was revealed during the NFL Honors Ceremony in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The sixth overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia, Seymour played for the Patriots in his first eight seasons, contributing to four runs to the Super Bowl and three championships.
In 2009, Seymour was traded to the Oakland Raiders where he completed his NFL career three years later.
