Thursday marked New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s 68th birthday.
To honor the occasion, the NFL Throwback Twitter account shared footage from Belichick’s first ever Patriots win, a 28-19 victory over the Denver Broncos in 2000.
The Patriots would go on to win just four more times in Belichick’s first season, but from 2001 to present Belichick has yet to coach another sub .500 team.
In 20 seasons as head coach, Bill Belichick has amassed a record of 237-83 with the Patriots, winning ten or more regular season games in 18 of 20 seasons.
You know the rest, Belichick has won an AFC East title 17 times, a conference crown nine times, and six Super Bowl championships.
