INDIANAPOLIS — Bill Belichick’s former front office mates are spreading like crazy around the NFL, and there was a Patriots feel throughout Lucas Oil Stadium yesterday upon the opening of the scouting combine.
Newly hired general managers with Pats roots, Bob Quinn of the Lions and Jon Robinson of the Titans, praised Belichick for preparing them for this opportunity. And Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht was proud of both former colleagues for their big breaks.
“Bob is a tremendously smart guy and a very good talent evaluator who’s put in his time just like Jon Robinson,” Licht said.
