New England is transitioning from training-camp practices to regular-season preparation this week, Patriots coach Bill Belichick said during his press conference on Monday. But when asked which of New England’s quarterbacks will take the first snap of Belichick’s 21st season with the Patriots on Sept. 13 against the Miami Dolphins, the coach declined to pick one.
“When we’re ready to do it, we’ll do it,” Belichick said about naming a starting QB.
But Belichick had a lot more to say when asked about one of the candidates for that position earlier in the day during an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
