The Chicago Bears are working out former New England Patriots wide receiver David Wallis, according to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson.
The news comes one day after rookie receiver Rome Odunze was diagnosed with a Grade 1 MCL sprain suffered in Sunday's comeback win against the Tennessee Titans. Odunze is considered "week to week," according to NFL insiders, and it's unclear how much time he'll miss.
But, unrelated to Odunze, Wallis could also be an option in the kick return game after Velus Jones Jr.
