The New England Patriots’ first season under coach Jerod Mayo hasn’t gone well. At 3-11 going into Week 16, New England has already been eliminated from playoff contention for the third straight year and will finish with a losing record.
There’s been a slew of speculation surrounding Mayo’s job security beyond 2024. While nothing is guaranteed, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport shed light into the thought process for keeping Mayo on the staff in 2025.
“The Krafts want to keep Jerod Mayo,” Rapoport said on “NFL GameDay” on Sunday.
