On Tuesday, the NFL officially selected Atlanta to host Super Bowl LXII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2028. It will be the second time Atlanta has hosted the Super Bowl since opening their new stadium in 2017.
The Los Angeles Rams were defeated by the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII back in 2019. The league has locked down its next four Super Bowl venues.
New Orleans will host in 2025 followed by San Francisco in 2026, Los Angeles in 2027 and Atlanta in 2028.
The Falcons have not been to the Super Bowl since losing to the New England Patriots in 2016.
