FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In discussing the New England Patriots' season-opening game at the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 11, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said, “We've got a lot of people to get familiar with because this is a team that we don't know very well, even though we've had a lot of time to prepare for them.”
The Cardinals are led by fourth-year head coach Bruce Arians, whose background is on offense, which is reflected in how he calls the offensive plays. Harold Goodwin is the team's offensive coordinator, while James Bettcher leads the defense and Amos Jones the special teams.
