The Patriots have all their specialists locked up for the foreseeable future, with Ryan Allen the latest, as the punter agreed to a three-year extension late last week.
Allen, who is entering his third season, couldn’t be happier, but isn’t taking anything for granted.
“Obviously, to know something’s already done and worked out, is one less thing hovering around in your head, so it’s definitely a positive,” said Allen when reached earlier today. “But whether you’re under contract or not, you’ve got to work, you’ve got to produce. That’s the type of organization you’re in. There’s a high level of competitiveness and productivity.
