Arizona's Mike Lupati taken off on stretcher after collision

SEATTLE — Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Mike Iupati was taken off the field in an ambulance Sunday night after a collision while making a block in the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound Iupati was down on the field for about 10 minutes as medical personnel attended to him with 9:16 remaining in the second quarter. After being strapped to a backboard, Iupati was put on a stretcher and into an ambulance that was brought onto the field.

The Cardinals said Iupati had a neck injury but had feeling and movement in his extremities when he left the stadium.
