The Arizona Cardinals have suffered their first free agency loss of the offseason, although he wasn't expected to be re-signed by the Cardinals. According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga is signing with the New England Patriots.
Tonga gets a one-year deal with $2.7 million.
He played one season for the Cardinals, signing a one-year deal last offseason. The fifth-year player out of BYU, is on his fourth team in five NFL seasons.
Last season, he played in 13 games, starting once. He had 22 combined tackles in 229 defensive snaps.
