Tom Brady won’t ever be confused with the mobile quarterbacks in the league who are threats to run or make throws while on the move. But during the past two seasons, he’s worked hard to improve his footwork and mobility in order to extend plays. In Sunday’s 34-27 win over the Colts, there were plenty examples of Brady’s fancy footwork:
24-YARD PASS TO DANNY AMENDOLA
Timing: First quarter, trailing, 7-0
Situation: First-and-10 from the Colts’ 36-yard line.
Skinny: On their first drive of the game, Brady felt pressure coming on both edges, forcing him to move up and then take a step to his left in the collapsing pocket before finding Amendola on a crossing pattern.
