FOXBORO — Defensive tackle Alan Branch (knee) missed his second consecutive practice today, as his availability for Sunday looks even bleaker.
Branch injured his knee Monday night against the Dolphins and didn’t participate yesterday in the walkthrough, which typically means the injured player isn’t in the game plan. By sitting out again today, that scenario appears more likely.
Cornerback Johnson Bademosi was also absent for unknown reasons. He wasn’t listed yesterday on the injury report, so it’s possible that he caught the illness that has traversed the locker room in recent weeks.
Linebacker Kyle Van Noy (calf) was present and participated in the stretching line.
