After losing a veteran free agent signing to an opt-out, the New England Patriots brought back an undrafted rookie free agent to fill the void.
On Thursday, the Patriots announced that they had re-signed wide receiver Isaiah Zuber. The move comes shortly after veteran receiver Marqise Lee added his name to the list of New England players who were opting out of the 2020 season due to safety concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 6-foot, 190-pound Zuber initially signed with the Patriots on May 5, shortly after the 2020 NFL Draft. Zuber spent most of his career at Kansas State before finishing with a season at Mississippi State.
