The New England Patriots are back in the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoff picture with their AFC East-clinching win over the Buffalo Bills combined with the Houston Texans' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The Patriots and Texans both sit at 10-5 in the AFC standings, but New England owns the tiebreaker as a result of its Week 1 win over Houston. The Texans' loss drops them to the No. 3 seed. They still lead the AFC South, but only by one game over the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.
