AFC exec believes Patriots would be 'foolish' not to consider making this massive trade

The New England Patriots are entering this offseason with needs all over their roster, but wide receiver should be near the top of the list.

At this point, JaQuae Jackson, an exclusive-rights free agent, is the only member of New England's receiver group from 2024 who is expected to hit the market.

Kendrick Bourne, Ja'Lynn Polk, Javon Baker, Kayshon Boutte, Demario Douglas and John Jiles are all under contract for the 2025 season, but considering the group's limited ability, New England should be trying to upgrade at the position in the coming months.

With that, one player they should target is Los Angeles Rams wideout Cooper Kupp, who is expected to be traded this offseason, and according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler an AFC executive said that the Patriots would be "foolish" not to consider putting together a trade package for the Super Bowl MVP.
