The Patriots' fifth straight AFC championship game appearance will bring us one last Tom Brady-Peyton Manning showdown.
The top-seeded Broncos came from behind to knock off Pittsburgh, 23-16, and set up a matchup with the Patriots next Sunday at Mile High Stadium (3 p.m. EST).
Some quick notes on the Broncos, and on Brady/Manning 17:
**The Broncos were 30-24 winners in Week 12 against the Pats, but New England was without Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and, for the second half, Don'ta Hightower.
The Pats' run defense suffered after Hightower exited that game. Before the Hightower injury, the Broncos carried 15 times for 43 yards.
