Adrian Wilson, a former NFL player and front office executive, faces three domestic violence charges following an incident at his home on the morning of June 1.
According to police records, Wilson has been charged with assault intentionally causing physical injury, damaging property and disorderly conduct. All three charges are misdemeanors related to domestic violence.
Citing police records, ESPN reports that Wilson became angry after discovering separation papers obtained by his wife, who had hired a private investigator and learned that Wilson was having an affair.
Wilson then barged into the bedroom, with the ex-player’s wife telling police that he pinned her against the bed and began to choke her, according to ESPN.
