That's a real good question, Mike. Let's start with the Detroit Free Press story that noted the Patriots were interested in trading up for center Frank Ragnow (No. 20, Lions). It's always a challenge to know for certain what the team's intentions are, but it seems accurate to me that the team was exploring the market to move up, and also had options to move back from 23.
