Anyone watching the New England Patriots offense Sunday night likely had the same thought: This is a well-oiled machine, a group that showed little to no slippage despite the absences of Rob Gronkowski, Nate Solder, Sebastian Vollmer, Dion Lewis and, um, Tom Brady.
With Jimmy Garoppolo at the controls, the offense operated much the same way it does when Brady is calling the shots. The ball came out quickly, the receivers were consistently open, and the Cardinals secondary never found an answer.
Up next for Garoppolo and Co.: A Miami Dolphins squad that held Seattle to 12 points on the road.
