FOXBOROUGH — With joint practices against the Panthers on the horizon, Bill Belichick gave his players a light workload on Monday.
New England returned from a weekend off in shorts and shells, then spent most of the morning repping plays at 75% in 11-on-11 periods. Belichick clearly wants his team fresh as competition heats up on Tuesday, but still, there were a few takeaways from Foxborough. Here are seven:
1. Agholor impresses
Nelson Agholor is continuing to put a really nice training camp together.
When competition intensified a bit near the end of practice, Agholor hauled in a one-handed grab over Jalen Mills to score a touchdown in a two-minute drill.
