But after leaving Cincinnati with a win in Week 1, New England was unable to carry that momentum over to its home opener — with Seattle eventually beating the Patriots in overtime, 23-20, off a 31-yard field goal from Jason Myers.
With the loss, New England drops to 1-1 on the season.
