The New England Patriots are entering the 2025 offseason with plenty of cap space and not a lot of pending free agent talent worthy of a contract extension.
This will be a pivotal offseason under coach Mike Vrabel and the newly-assembled staff. The Patriots have an opportunity to reshape their team with some high-profile free agents. There's hope that New England will be a more desirable destination with a talented rookie quarterback in Drake Maye and a more experienced coaching staff in place.
This could be a spending spree similar to what former coach Bill Belichick had in the 2021 offseason.
