FOXBOROUGH — After two days of padded practice that saw a new offense running at full speed, Bill Belichick eased off the throttle on Wednesday morning.
Players were just in shorts and shells, and much of the session revolved around correction rather than competition.
“Try to clean up a few things from the last couple of days that need to be worked out and get back at it,” Belichick said. “(Try to clean up) everything. A lot of communication, techniques, adjustments.”
With forecasts calling for temperatures in the mid-90s on Thursday — and it feels even hotter on the backfields at Gillette Stadium — it’ll be fascinating to see how intense the next practice gets.
