The Ravens kicked it off early by cutting running back Mark Ingram. Others have more recently followed suit, including the Broncos with cornerback A.J. Bouye, Panthers with defensive tackle Kawann Short and Panthers with safety Tre Boston.

This offseason could see a particularly lucrative cap casualty market due to the NFL’s declining salary cap, putting many teams in position to add quality players at a bargain price.
