With the 2024 NFL preseason in full swing, the New England Patriots will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, August 15 for an exhibition game at Gillette Stadium. With Jerod Mayo replacing Bill Belichick as head coach of the Patriots, and a (brief) debut from rookie quarterback Drake Maye during last week's preseason win against the Carolina Panthers, there's plenty of attention being paid to the Pats this season. But the Eagles are also having a positive showing so far, after winning their first preseason game against Baltimore, 16-13.
