The New England Patriots were unable to complete their season sweep of the Buffalo Bills, losing the two AFC East rivals’ Week 17 game with a final score of 27-21. However, they do have something to feel good about coming out of that game: their loss paired with an Arizona Cardinals win on Sunday improved their draft position again.
After entering the weekend as the fourth-ranked team in the draft standings, they are momentarily back in the No. 3 slot again. In order to get there, two things happened:
