A member of the 2020 New England Patriots draft class is returning to the roster after a year away.
Center Dustin Woodard has been reinstated from the retired list, as first shared Wednesday by ESPN’s Field Yates. The move made the NFL transaction wire.
The Patriots selected Woodard in the seventh round last April at pick No. 230 overall. His retirement became official leading up to training camp in August.
Woodard, 23, started 52 career games at the University of Memphis. His Tigers tenure spanned both guard spots and finished at center as a senior.
