The New England Patriots’ roster is down to 73 players after the team has parted ways with another one of its depth players. According to NESN’s Doug Kyed, the team will move on from wide receiver K.J. Maye – the second time that New England parts ways with him:

K.J. Maye went unselected during the 2016 NFL draft and was picked up by the New York Giants as a free agent. However, he was unable to stick with the team and was on the open market from August to December 2016, when the Tennessee Titans added him to their practice squad.
