The New England Patriots continue being active today. After two transactions earlier today – trading safety Jordan Richards to the Atlanta Falcons and releasing wide receiver Paul Turner –, it now looks as if the team has let another player go. According to NESN’s Doug Kyed, the Patriots have parted ways with running back Khalfani Muhammad:

Muhammad joined the Patriots last season as a free agency pickup to bolster the running back position for the final preseason game.
