The New England Patriots announced on Tuesday evening they will honor their 2015 Hall of Fame Inductee former linebacker Willie McGinest at halftime during the Thursday night matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
McGinest, drafted fourth overall in the 1994 NFL Draft, played 12 seasons for the Patriots before ending his career with the Cleveland Browns from 2006-2008.
During his tenure with the Patriots, McGinest totaled 78 sacks, third most in franchise history, and owns the postseason record with 16 as he played in four of the seven team Super Bowl appearances, helping lead them to three titles in four years.
