Unprepared and undisciplined team is a reflection of the coaching staff: The Patriots have a first-time head coach, a first-time defensive coordinator, and a first-time special teams coordinator and a first-year offensive coordinator. A bit of a learning curve had to be expected early on in the season, but Thursday was not that: the Patriots looked unprepared and, as a result, uncompetitive against the Jets.
