The New England Patriots appear set to add another veteran defensive player. The Patriots have been told by DT Terrance Knighton that he'll sign with them.

However, Knighton tweeted out earlier today that he had made his decision and tweeted a photoshop of him in a Patriots helmet.

The Patriots beat out the Redskins for Knighton. It's a one-year, $4.5 million deal for Knighton.
This is Knighton's fourth NFL team. He was a third round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009, and played four years for them. He spent two seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining Washington Redskins for last season.
Knighton is listed at 6-foot-3, 355-pounds. A true nose guard, he'll be tasked with stopping the run.
