The New England Patriots have claimed wide receiver Michael Floyd off waivers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:
The #Patriots have claimed WR Michael Floyd, source said. That’s a big-time addition.

Floyd was released by the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week after he was arrested for a DUI early Monday morning.
New England has a need for an outside wide receiver, and Floyd expects to step in and fill that role almost immediately. That need has become greater after Rob Gronkowski (out for season) and Danny Amendola (out for regular season) suffered injuries.
Floyd is in his fifth season in the league, spending all of it with the Cardinals until his release. He has 33 catches for 446 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games this season.
