Rob Gronkowski is back and heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gronk wanted to play football again, but only with Tom Brady and the Bucs. He's getting his wish as the New England Patriots have traded him to the Bucs.
Trade Details:
Bucs Get: Rob Gronkowski & 7th round pick
Patriots Get: 4th Round pick
Even though Gronk had retired, he had one year left on his contract. The Patriots still retained his right (1-year, $10 million), meaning a trade had to happen for Gronk to join the Bucs. Now, he gets to play with the only QB he's wanted to play with in the NFL: Brady.
The exact details on the pick numbers (both teams have an extra of the one they're trading) is not yet known.
This is a developing story. Refresh for updates.
