Martellus Bennett was released by the Green Bay Packers yesterday, and it didn't take him long to find a new team - who happens to be an old one.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Bennett was claimed on waivers by the New England Patriots.

Green Bay waived him with the designation of failure to disclose a medical condition, which they hope will help them recoup the remaining $4.2 million on his signing bonus.
Bennett spent last season with the Patriots on a one-year deal, catching 55 passes for 701 yards and seven touchdowns while helping them win the Super Bowl. However, they let him walk in free agency because they didn't want to meet his asking price.
The Packers signed him to a three-year, $21 million this offseason, but released him after just seven games. He caught 24 passes for 233 yards this season but hadn't caught a touchdown pass.
