In Patriots news today, the New England Patriots are organized and ready to attack the 2014 NFL season and beyond -- putting together a list of priorities to aid the Patriots in their quest to return to the top of the NFL mountain.
One of those priorities, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer (via ProFootballRumors.com), is to lock-up safety Devin McCourty up with a potential long-term contract:

Devin McCourty is slated to make up to $5.1 million in the final year of a five-year, $10 million contract in 2014. He has been consistently one of the New England Patriots' most durable and accountable performers on the defensive side of the ball, starting 61 of the Patriots' 64 regular season games over the past four seasons.
McCourty has 15 career interceptions with the Patriots, along with six forced fumbles.
