The Patriots have traded a fifth-round draft pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga and a sixth-round pick. Sopoaga, a 32-year-old nose tackle, played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2004 to 2012 before signing a three-year, $12 million deal with Philadelphia in March of 2013. Sopoaga has 223 tackles and 7.5 sacks through his NFL career to date. The 10th-year player out of Hawaii has started seven games this season for the Eagles, racking up 10 tackles.
And as expected, Eagles traded DT Isaac Sopoaga and a pick to the Patriots for a higher pick.
