Rob Gronkowski had a career day against the Bears on Sunday, finishing the game with nine catches for 149 yards and three touchdowns in a blowout victory.
Chicago had no answer for covering Gronkowski, as he routinely beat coverage on his way to a three score day. Gronk had four touchdowns all season prior to this blowup game.
His seven touchdowns now put him second among tight ends behind Denver's Julius Thomas (nine).
The big performance took so much out of Gronk, that he left dehydrated in the second half, though that was mostly as a precaution in a lopsided game. He should be fine going forward.
Doing his part, Tom Brady finished the day with five touchdown passes and 354 yards.
